Justice for Yia Xiong Make Demands to St. Paul Police Chief & Ramsey County DA

Earlier this week, Ramsey County Attorney John Choi and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison came together to announce no charges would be filed in the fatal police shooting of 65 year old Yia Xiong.

Today Xiong’s family came together for a press conference, alongside members of the Hmong community, to express their outrage over the decision not to charge the officers involved and to demand accountability.

Members of Justice for Yia Xiong spoke at the press conference with two demands: 1) Choi release the BCA report, and 2) Ramsey County and the St. Paul Chief of Police come to the community for a meeting.
