Minnesota GOP Senator Behind “Trump Derangement Syndrome” Bill Arrested, Accused of Soliciting a Minor

MINNESOTA— Minnesota Senator Justin Eichorn, who recently co-authored a bill to categorize “Trump derangement syndrome” as a mental illness, has been arrested after allegedly soliciting someone he believed to be a 16-year-old child for prostitution.

Eichorn, a Republican from Grand Rapids, MN, was arrested by Bloomington police on Tuesday, after attempting to meet a detective posing as a teenager.

Eichorn, who is married with four children, is facing felony charges. However, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office said the case had yet to be submitted to them for charging as of Tuesday afternoon.
