Wakulla County, Florida is under a mandatory evacuation as Category 4 Hurricane Helene nears landfall.
However, the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office is not evacuating some 3k incarcerated individuals ahead of the storm, which has been deemed “unsurvivable.”
