Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker Calls Out White House for Grant Freeze

Trump has announced he will be freezing federal grants and loans to, according to his administration, review wasteful spending. The administration also claimed that people currently receiving governmental assistance would continue to get that help.

However, Illinois @govpritzker called a press conference late Tuesday where he stated that the state cannot currently access its Medicaid portal.

A federal judge has temporarily blocked the freeze.
